Raven Hinson is a passionate community advocate and artist who has dedicated their time and talents to building meaningful connections and supporting local nonprofits. As a leader and volunteer, she has worked to create spaces where individuals can come together to make a positive impact.
Previously, Raven led Community Bucket, a nonprofit organization that partnered with volunteer groups to support and execute impactful projects for other nonprofits. In this role, she worked to build a strong sense of community among volunteers while ensuring that the organizations they supported were able to carry out their missions.
Additionally, Raven served on the TheCreatives Project Board, an art nonprofit that fostered partnerships between artists and local communities. Through this place-based artist program, they helped create opportunities for artists to engage with the community by teaching various art projects, enriching both the artists and the people they worked with.
Currently, Raven is an active member of the Smyrna Friends of the Library Board, contributing to the membership committee to help strengthen community involvement with the local library.
In her spare time, Raven practices art through card-making, creating beautiful, personalized cards for friends and family as a way to spread joy and positivity. She has also taken classes at Dad’s Garage and taken various art workshops around Atlanta.
