COMMUNITY VOICES
What Smyrna Arts Council Means To Me

Why Smyrna needs
Art in the Downtown

Art is fun to see and fun to make.
Art can prompt us to think in new creative ways, sometimes exciting ways, sometimes provocative. Both inspire conversation and community interchange, which builds up a community.

The art sets standards for the community. When "excellent art" is displayed, it creates the impression that the community is also excellent.

The Smyrna Arts Council is invested in enriching and fostering the Arts in Smyrna. They are open to new ideas and excited to see the Arts prosper in the city. I have enjoyed working and networking with the Smyrna Arts Council and other Smyrna artists. The members are very committed to making Smyrna an arts destination in the Greater Atlanta area, and I am enjoying collaborating with them and seeing this happen for Smyrna.
