Leah joined the Smyrna Arts Council in 2017 and is now serving as the Vice President.
Originally a transplant from Columbus, Ga., Leah has been a Smyrna resident since 2016. She lives here with her husband, Ryan, and their 5-year-old son, Lawson.
Leah works for Aflac insurance company. She has held many roles throughout her career, with a focus on Marketing, Communications, Innovation, and Customer Experience. She is currently the Senior Manager of Communications and Operations, supporting their Northern Ireland-based technology company. She also brings a history of community and volunteer service, with a passion in supporting children’s initiatives.
Leah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations with an emphasis in Marketing from Auburn University (War Eagle!), and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbus State University.
Leah is also the Founder of #SmyrnaGaRocks, an online community and local movement with a simple goal: to spread art, joy, fun and kindness around Smyrna by painting and hiding rocks for others to find. Based on the national Kindness Rocks Project, she launched #SmyrnaGaRocks in June 2017.
